The peak months of December, January and February are the favorite months of foreigners coming to El Nido. The climate is cool and dry. The tourist strip is electric and lively.
Many prefer March, April and May. While the sun is hot, the waters are peaceful and serene. Rain can be a forgotten event.
In June, July and August, the underwater visibility is great. The southwest monsoon can last this entire quarter but the rains are short and scattered. With smaller crowds, there's now time for reverie. Stay the extra night or two, even the week.
The months of September, October and November have a mix of weather from the previous three quarters. Visitors are now steadily returning in numbers.
